Public Art Project Management

Public art project management has included the development of more than 40 artworks in the Cities of Richmond and Surrey.  The artwork installations have taken place in parks, walkways, pedestrian overpasses, street infrastructure and public buildings.  (i.e. city hall, library, theatre).

The public art project management tasks include: site location, public art plans/project terms of reference, artwork theme, timeline, artist calls, selection panel, artist-client legal arrangements, and artist collaboration and implementation monitoring.  Other artworks are integrated as part of private developer funded water and landscape features, gateways, building facades and lighting.  And, others created under the auspices of community funded projects.

The City of Richmond artworks can be viewed here. The two City of Surrey artworks (i.e. Tynehead Pedestrian Overpass and Surrey City Centre Library) can be viewed here.
