The Accessibility Awareness Project

The Richmond Centre for Disability launched the Accessibility Awareness Project in 2003 as a joint effort with the City of Richmond and Tourism Richmond.  The project goals are:

1.  To increase awareness among Richmond businesses of the need for accessibility for customers with disabilities; and

2.  To recognize and highlight, through an easy-to-use online database, the many businesses and attractions in Richmond that already offer outstanding accessibility.
